US Stocks $0.20 - $10.00
Float < 45M
Open > 1.05 * Yesterday's Close

High "Volume Buzz" At The Opening Bell
A Significant News Event
This scan setup is KILLER!!! The key is to be on your computer at the opening bell and run the scan right when the market opens and closely watch the top 1 or 2 stocks for a long entry. Simple as that. No need to complicate it. No need to change it.
Most stocks you find will be in the $1.00 to $5.00 range.
The software and broker I use is Worden TC2000 at TC2000.com. The do have a free version at FreeStockCharts.com. But if you are serious about making a daily income, get the full version at TC2000.com. Be sure and get Real-Time Data and the Investor News Feed. So with TC2000 you can have your scan, chart, and news all on one screen.
They also have a brokerage service which I also recommend. You can execute trades and stops directly off the chart with the click of a button.
The reason I use TC2000 is because of their unmatched platform ability, super fast customer service, real-time data and news feed, one-click trade executions, and for proprietary indicators like "Volume Buzz".
Volume Buzz is my ace in the hole and I don't know what I would to without it because it tells me instantly what stock are trading on unusually high relative volume at any time of day I'm watching and it put's those stocks right at the top of my scan list.
I then quickly check for a significant new event... and if there's news... I'm watching that stock like a hawk for an entry.
My entry is the first candle to make a new high and close green after a pull back in price. Sometimes the pullback can be as short as 1 minute, so you have to have your eyes glued on the action.
I close 1/2 my position every $0.10 gain, adjust stop loss to that level, and watch for new entries.
Be careful of trading more than 3 pull-backs.
Be careful trading after 11am.
Future post on this blog will feature the stocks I traded and the gains or losses made.
